The Village of Norridge is excited to announce their new Handyman Program.  The Village now has a handyman who has a wide variety of skills and is available to come out and fix some of those projects that you may not be able to fix on your own. This service is being provided free of charge; however, any parts or supplies that may need to be purchased, will be at the homeowner’s expense.

 

Appointments can be made by calling Kathy Gaseor at 708-453-0800, Ext. 230. All appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Our handyman will be carrying proper Village of Norridge identification. Please ask to see his I.D. before letting him in. If you are in doubt, please call the Village Hall, or 9-1-1.

 

Some of the items our handyman can help you with:

·          Carpentry Repairs

·          Changing light bulbs

·          Hanging curtain rods

·          Install smoke detector or CO detectors (or change the batteries)

·          Small caulking jobs

·          Fix running toilets

·          Put in and take out window air conditioners

·          Hook up outside garden hoses

·          Set up lawn furniture

·          Small painting projects

·          Fix leaky faucets

Some of the items our handyman CANNOT help you with:

·          No electrical

·          No major plumbing
